Our commitment

gOOOvy is designed to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance.

Conformance status

gOOOvy partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The known gaps below are tracked and slated for fixes.

Features that aid accessibility

• All interactive controls are keyboard-reachable in DOM order.
• Form fields have programmatic labels.
• Color contrast for text meets WCAG AA on all primary surfaces.
• Buttons use real button elements; no div-buttons.
• Toast notifications are announced with aria-live="polite".
• The schedule editor uses native time inputs so screen readers can read times correctly.

Known limitations

• The dashboard relies on JavaScript. Users without JS see a "Loading your dashboard..." message and cannot edit settings.
• Animations are not yet honored against prefers-reduced-motion on every page.
• Some icon-only buttons (e.g., the remove control on list rows) carry an aria-label but no visible label.
